My dad passed on Monday. He was one of a kind. He My dad passed on Monday. He was one of a kind. He loved the woods, music, history, and tracing how everyone was somehow connected. He never met a stranger. Give him a few minutes and he’d find the thread that tied you together. He paid attention to the world in a way that stuck with me — deer at the edge of the field, turkeys wandering through the yard, hawks circling high above the trees. Always reading into what it might mean. More than anything, he adored his family: his girls, his grandchildren, and his great-grandson. There will never be another quite like him. I’ll think of him every time I see a hawk in the sky or a possum sauntering by (IYKYK). Love you forever, Dad.

96 miles across the West Highland Way 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Wh 96 miles across the West Highland Way 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 What I found out there was more than just stunning views (though there were plenty). The solitude gave me space to breathe, the miles reminded me of my own strength, and the people I met along the way renewed my faith in humanity. I came home with amazing memories, a full heart, and a deeper sense of who I am. #WestHighlandWay @westhighlandwayofficial
