Kathleen Hannigan handbuilds stoneware pottery in the mountains of Western North Carolina, work shaped by the same forms she finds in the woods around her studio — a leaf, a vine, a shell on sand. When Kathleen came to me, her site was acting as a business card: she needed something beautiful and built to sell.
We rebuilt it from the ground up on Shopify, giving her a real production shop without losing the quiet, art-forward feel her work is known for. Production pottery, one-of-a-kind pieces, and sculptural work each got their own clearly defined space, so a customer can browse a set of everyday mugs or a single one-of-a-kind piece without the two ever feeling at odds.
“Working with Andi Sigsbey was an outstanding experience. She created a beautiful website that perfectly reflects both my work and my personality. Her creativity, expertise, and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the design. Throughout the process, she was organized, professional, patient, and genuinely cared about bringing my vision to life. I couldn’t be happier with the final result and highly recommend Etowah Creative to anyone looking for exceptional web design. If you want the very best, Andi is the one to call!”
Wholesale was just as important as retail. We built out a full wholesale system with its own pricing tier, opening order minimums, and payment terms — so Kathleen can bring on shops and stockists without a separate platform or a call to a developer every time terms need to change. We also set up local delivery for nearby customers, so orders close to the studio skip shipping altogether.
The result: a shop that reads as calm and grounded as her pottery, built to support retail and wholesale side by side, and handed off with the training and confidence Kathleen needs to run it herself.
