Well, here we are… it’s 2015 and I am so excited to uncover all the surprises that this year will bring my way. Last year was all about learning how to decide what is important in my life and go after it. This year I am reflecting on this quote by the Dalai Lama {download your free 8×10 PDF printable here}…

The seed of goodness is found in the soil of appreciation.

Is this not the truth? Is this not the basic foundation of living a fulfilled life? Is this the key to really being able to love and connect with each other despite our differences?

Each and every one of us has struggles. We all have things going on that we would rather not have to deal with. It’s so easy to see these things and to dwell on the struggle and the hardness. Often if we look closely and examine these situation we find that our own soul and goodness blossoms out of these challenges. I’m making a commitment this year to look at any struggle or challenge and appreciate it for its ability to allow me to grow and to expand my library of life knowledge. Appreciation will be the lens that I view 2015 through.

My goal this year is to spend more time appreciating so that I can always see the good in myself, my circumstance, and my people.

In 2014 we took a huge leap of faith and we have begun to plant the seeds of our dreams and we hope to cultivate them in 2015 and beyond. I’m so honored and overwhelmed by the people who keep supporting me and allowing me to do this thing that I love. I appreciate you! I’m starting small BUT I’m starting somewhere. I’ve opened my Etsy shop and I’m so excited to fill it up over the course of the year.

What are you hoping for in 2015? It’s bound to be spectacular!
