It’s been a while since I’ve updated because we have had a few BIG changes around here. Within the last two weeks, I have quit a state job that I had for 7 years, moved to a new town, and have taken on the role of stay at home mom. I will say that it is the scariest transition that I have ever gone through but also the most liberating and inspiring.

beehappy ---> andisigsbey.comWith this transition we have chosen to reduce our household down to one income so that we can spend more time together as a family chasing our dreams. It will certainly have it’s challenges but at this point the benefits are sure to outweigh any struggles. Stay tuned for loads of DIY solutions, recipes, and other fun stuff as we navigate this new normal.

My new mantra is to just ‘bee’ happy. So I hope you will join me: step out of your comfort zone, do something that scares you, put fear in the backseat. Maybe for you it means taking that Yoga class, signing up for a skydiving lesson, or going out dancing. I think Mark Twain said it best,  “Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

Until next time,
